Shaykh Sulaymān al-Ruḥaylī
Shaykh Sulaymān ibn Salīm Allāh al-Ruḥaylī (born Rajab 1386 AH / October 1966 CE) memorised the Qurʾān before the age of ten and began attending circles of knowledge in the Prophet’s Mosque while still a child. Among those he sat with were Shaykh Muḥammad al-Amīn al-Shinqīṭī, Shaykh Abū Bakr al-Jazāʾirī, Shaykh al-Albānī, Shaykh Ibn Bāz, and Shaykh Ibn al-ʿUthaymīn.
He earned his advanced degrees and joined the Islamic University of Madinah as a professor, and today teaches in the Prophet’s Mosque as well as serving as imam and khaṭīb of the Qubāʾ Mosque. His lessons and lectures are widely followed by students of knowledge.
