Shaykh ʿAbd al-Razzāq al-Badr

Shaykh ʿAbd al-Razzāq ibn ʿAbd al-Muḥsin al-Badr (born 1382 AH) was born in al-Zulfī and resides in Madinah. He is the son of the scholar Shaykh ʿAbd al-Muḥsin al-ʿAbbād, under whom he studied. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the College of Sharīʿah at the Islamic University, followed by his master’s and doctorate in the department of creed.

He now teaches graduate studies in ʿaqīdah at the Islamic University of Madinah as a full professor. He has authored many books and papers, among the best known being his four-volume work Fiqh al-Adʿiyah wa’l-Adhkār on the understanding of supplication and the remembrance of Allah — a subject his lessons and writings return to again and again.
